Terms of use and safety — Redeem Time
Redeem Time by NeuroPhonetics LLC · Last updated: October 23, 2026
In short
- Use Redeem Time on your own devices. Never use it to watch someone else's device without their knowledge.
- Never look at a screen while driving or doing anything that needs your attention.
- It helps; it promises no results, and limits can be bypassed.
- It comes as it is, and any purchase goes through Google Play. Minnesota law applies.
- The full terms follow; where they differ from this summary, they win.
1. Agreement
By installing or using Redeem Time you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy (shown in the app). If you do not agree, do not use Redeem Time.
2. Who may use Redeem Time, and on whose device
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, read these terms with a parent or guardian.
- Install and use Redeem Time only on devices you own or are allowed to manage. Do not use it to see another person's screen time without their consent, or your legal authority as their parent or guardian; secretly monitoring another adult may be illegal.
3. Use it safely
- Do not look at or use your phone, tablet, or TV screen while driving, cycling, walking in traffic, or doing anything else that needs your attention. Follow local laws about phones in vehicles.
- Take regular breaks from screens for your eyes, posture, and sleep.
- Redeem Time never blocks the phone app, calls, emergency apps, or text messages, and no setting can change that. It is not an emergency service: in an emergency, call your local emergency number.
4. Your license to use Redeem Time
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Redeem Time on devices you own or are allowed to manage, under these terms. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the app, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows. Open-source parts are covered by their own licenses (listed in the app).
5. Your data
Your statistics, settings, and reports are yours. NeuroPhonetics does not store them: they stay on your devices and in the folders and accounts you choose, and we cannot see or recover them. When you choose to copy, sync, export, or share them (Google Drive, a cloud folder, Google Sheets, webhooks, Notion, email, or other devices), that copy is handled by the service you chose, and you are responsible for it, for your backups, and for who can open the folders you share.
6. Limits, blocking, and statistics
You decide which limits, focus sessions, and settings to use, on which devices. Limits and focus sessions can be turned off, bypassed, or stopped by Android (for example by battery savers), so do not rely on them where safety or duty depends on them. Statistics come from Android's usage log and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They may differ from other screen-time apps, including Android's Digital Wellbeing.
7. Other services
Google Drive, cloud folder apps, IFTTT, Zapier, Notion, and other services you connect have their own terms and privacy policies; folders synced by other apps are synced by those apps. Google Play's terms apply to downloading Redeem Time and to purchases; Google is not responsible for Redeem Time.
8. Redeem Time Pro
Redeem Time Pro is a one-time purchase through Google Play, not a subscription. It is bought on the device that looks at the others: it unlocks seeing your other devices' figures, exports beyond the current week, and the integrations, in the version of Redeem Time you have. Devices that only send their figures, and the TV app, need no purchase. Google Play is the seller; its terms and refund rules apply, including any right to cancel that the law where you live gives you. What Pro unlocks stays unlocked for that purchase; it is not a promise of future features, updates or support.
9. Current version, changes, and ending the service
You get Redeem Time as it is when you install or buy it. We do not promise updates, new versions, new features, support, or that it will keep working on future versions of Android or on new devices. We may change, pause, or stop Redeem Time or any feature at any time, including stopping updates or support, with notice where reasonably possible. Redeem Time may stop working because of changes to Android, Google Play, devices, or third-party services we do not control. We have no obligation to keep Redeem Time available, compatible, or updated. Because your data stays on your devices and accounts, keep your own backups and exports.
Test versions (internal, closed, or open testing on Google Play, or installed directly) are unfinished: they may have bugs, lose or damage data, stop working, or be removed without notice. Use them only with data you have backed up.
10. No guarantee of results; not professional advice
Redeem Time shows screen-time statistics and tools to change habits. We do not promise that it will reduce screen time or improve focus, health, sleep, wellbeing, or family relationships, or that it suits any particular purpose. Insights are general guidance, not medical, psychological, or parenting advice.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
Redeem Time is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NeuroPhonetics LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Minnesota, United States, and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss, corruption, or exposure of data (including data in folders, accounts, or services you choose), profits, or goodwill, injury, accidents, or distraction, arising from the use of, or inability to use, Redeem Time. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Redeem Time in the 12 months before the claim or US$10. Some places do not allow these limits; there, they apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
13. Your responsibility to us
If you use Redeem Time unlawfully or break these terms, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result, as far as the law allows.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, except that either side may use small-claims court. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights that the law of the country where you live gives you.
15. General
- These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement about Redeem Time.
- If a part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
- Not enforcing a part of these terms is not a waiver of it.
- You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them, for example if Redeem Time gets a new owner.
- We may send notices inside the app, on NeuroPhonetics.com, or by email if you gave us one.
- Suggestions you send us may be used freely, without payment or obligation.
- Exports that allow it carry a short line, "Made with Redeem Time · NeuroPhonetics.com". You may remove it from your copy.
- If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
16. Changes to these terms and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and important changes will be shown in the app. Continuing to use Redeem Time after a change means you accept it. Questions: · https://NeuroPhonetics.com
